I am considering moving to Newport when I graduate from University with a degree in architecture. Is this a good idea. How is newport? Nice people? What kind of salary do I have to make in order to have a nice house and car there?

I'd stay where your at ~ there are no jobs here. companies closing or laying off its a sad time for everyone ~ if you can leave with your parents help them out with rent do something for your family ~ Cause if you were to move back home ~ you only have each other.. Until this recession gets better ~ stop dreaming and look at the realty of the things around you.

move to Toronto or Vancover instead!
