I'm planning on looking for work in the Orlando area later this year and I was wondering if anybody on here knows how much they make for an entry level position.

I currently have an Associates Degree in IT but don't have any certifications. Will this be of any disadvantage?

Certifications open the door but experience will determine your worthiness and pay at entry level starts at $11 to $14p/h.
Watch out for Outsourced IT companies, they are the worse with hours and pay.

There is not much work in orlando, sorry kid, orlando has one of the highest unemployments rates in the country. more lay offs then hiring right now. good luck and may god be with you. more and more are moving out of orlando after homes being foreclosed on and jobs being taken away. run my friend, cause you will get stuck here.

Not having certification will not be any disadvantage but doing certification will be an added advantage in you resume.
