I am looking to move to the Raleigh area and I am looking for a job. I was wondering if I should use a Temp Agency?

I am visiting the area Feb 16-19, 2008. I am looking for entry level sales, warehouse manager, property manager, or manufacturing positions.

I am also planning on making the jump to NC sometime soon, anywhere from Raleigh to Charlotte.
I suppose it wouldn't be a bad idea to use the temps, since they have leads you and I might not know about. The majors are down there, such as AppleOne, Adecco and Manpower, and a few smaller ones, like Volt.
Of course, the downside is the job may finish soon after you've gotten down there, and you may in-between jobs and in a strange and unfamiliar place. The trick would be to land that temp-to-hire gig.
Here's to two Yanks wishing they were in Dixie.
