Hey
I don't know much about National Growth Funding or the industry, but their BBB rating is good.
YOu can also check companies out online. I do know that a lot of businesses are trying to obtain credit as they hang on so maybe it's a good industry to look into.

I am here in Ft. Worth,Texas and the job market could be better, but it is not. Thanks to the people that voted for the one that does not want, no one to look at his birth certificate. What is wrong with that ,maybe he is not an AMERICAN,and if he is not then he can not be the chief,so you know that the congress is in cahoots with him. SO DO YOU ALL AGREE OR NOT

Why would ANYONE want to work for National Growth Funding? They are a part of National Grant Writing Authority in Las Vegas NV and they are all scams. They take money UP FRONT to do grant writing services and just send out letters until the contract expires. No one ever gets a grant. I CHALLENGE ANYONE to tell us they actually received a grant from this company or there partner in business, National Grant Writing Authority. SCAM< SCAM< SCAM< SCAM< SCAM< DO NOT use this service, they are THIEVES. SHAME on them, shame on YOU if you are stupid evough to give them money. They cant guarantee a grant they say but I bet they could guarantee you WON'T get a grant through them

I saw an ad for national growth funding that looked attractive

National Growth Funding is a SCAM. If you are any kind of decent person DO NOT work there. The mamager is an ass and he treats everyone like they are low-lifes, and in a way they are. They STEAL peoples money by making them think they can get a grant and then no one ever gets a grant. They are connected to NATIONAL GRANT WRITING AUTHORITY IN LAS VEGAS NEVADA, GOOGLE THAT COMPANY AND YOU WILL SEE WHAT YOU ARE IN FOR. SCAM ALL THE WAY-DON'T BELIEVE ME GO THERE AND WORK. I HEARD THERE ARE FEDERAL INVESTIGATORS LOOKING AT THE PRACTICES OF THESE THIEVES CLOSE-UP. I HOPE THEY ALL ROT IN HELL.

Just some stuff from their website that might explain it better, since my knowledge is limited.
In the tough competition of grant application, what you need is an effective grant proposal that will convince funders that your project is worthy of their support. With over 13 years of successfully operating in the industry, NGF Writers have mastered the way foundations and government agencies award grant and financial assistance. Performing on this basis, we emphasize the worth of your project/program to the community and how it will bring about significant changes in you and the people it will directly benefit.

Our services are available at affordable flat rates compared with other grant writing service companies. We charge no contingency fees or commissions!

Grant money is money given away by Foundations, Associations, Philanthropists and Government Funding Agencies in the attempt to stimulate economic growth. This money does not require credit checks, collateral, security deposits or cosigners; it is non-taxable, free of interest and never needs to be repaid!

Each year, these funding sources must allocate funds to businesses, in the form of grants, in order to secure their tax benefits. Eligible businesses can be 501c3 Non-Profit Organizations, small to mid-sized businesses, even large corporations, due to small business owners being critical to the success of state, national, and global economies.

National Growth Funding and it’s partners offer Full Service Grant Research and Writing Services to aid you in Locating, Applying to and Obtaining Grant Funding. Contact your National Growth Funding Representative today to see how we can help you!!

wow, doesn't anybody who reads these posts ever just talk about jobs and employment. My question was about working in sales and dealing with small businesses. Suddenly people start going of about some grant company in Missouri, california, washington, etc. I mean do all of you have so much free time and so much excess case that you can just spend time here on another company.
Thinking about starting a business? Great. Have you got a Plan? A company's business plan is what lenders such as banks and the U.S. Small Business Administration use in deciding to lend you money.
I mean the question is, how good is the finance industry world to work in over the next 5 or 10 years? I just wonder about my future as a salesman.
thanks

Excuse me Leonard, I am sorry, but why are you defending a company that scams its customers? Arnt you sick of your check bouncing too? Look, if you want to know whats up with this company, well it is under the ownership and operations as its sister company National Grant Writing Authority in Las Vegas NV. This company and its ownership have no regard for human life. Not only do they bounce every single check written, they cant manage a payroll system, so on tuesday, your friday check will still bounce. Now yes, I am sure they will talk this and that, but you should know that when they started stealing my child support money, and hording it for themselfs that I started to just loose it. And when the District Attourney... whats that? THE DA... tell you.. go find another job, that usually means its time to leave a company. Then, if that isnt enough to upset you, they lied to me, to cover their tracks, and told me they sent it to the mother of my daughter, who then stole the money... but told the DA in fear the truth, who then picked up the phone and called me, and told me they never even attempted to send a check. So, am I disgrunteled employee, probably.. but wouldnt you be? Dont fall for their talks, and their attacks, just type in their name to google, see if after about 30 secs your not blown away by the disgusting nature of this company and its ownership.

That is exactly what I'm telling you. If I was you, I'd throw a fit for a refund, if they refuse to give you one, here is what I would do, I would contact NGF, and demand all the work pertaining to you. If you've been in sense july of 09 they should have done about 4-6 rounds of research for you, each round is 10 foundations, that means they should send you a list of foundations that should be about 50, then demand all your letters of intent, when you have all that, email me the info at neffness@gmail.com and I will go and explain in detail how each of the non profits they tried to get funds from, would never fund a company like yours, and you can take all that info to the federal trade commission, I'm filing a report with them as well. But they would love to hear from you, they have a division that is exclusively for taking down grant scammers like NGF or NGWA, and I'd be willing to help you with what ever I could. They lied to you, they scammed you, and you can do something about it. I suggest to anyone, who has also been scammed to do the same thing. Start a class action law suit and you can bring these companies down, and put people behind bars. But yes, you've been scammed, you'll never see a penny. Just let me know if you need any help. You should all know that I'm getting calls from the GM of NGF on my personal cell, I keep ignoring them, but I'm sure they want to threaten me, in any case... I'm more then willing to help you, just let me know.

LOL, what this means is, they are currently trying to figure out new ways to screw you out of your money, don't buy into their hype. What ever they say, or try to convince you of, For-profits don't get funded, and their reputation is so bad with the non profits, that they would never fund any of their clients.

Also, ask yourself, why would a grant scam company feel the need to tell us they are "Plugging ahead" but not tell us what that means? That's because for every line they post trying to convince you they are a good company, I will post explaining to you why they are full of crap.

In Las Vegas currently we have the highest unemployment rate in the country. Sadley I was highred on as a data entry employee for a company owned by the owner that lasted a week before it went under. Its a shame that I contuned to work for them, but with a baby on the way and bills due I had to do what I had to do. I spent 3 months looking for a job before that one highred me. Am I a hypocrite... not really, you see while I worked for them I fought hard for the customers, I produced new methods and new ideas, I peronally took home files and spent my free time trying to help the clients of this company, I even sat down all of the GM's including the owner personally and deilverd report after report stating that the way they do things is wrong. You think of me as the problem? If not for me sir those customers would never have a chance. I trugdged thru 6 months of bounced checks, constant harrasment by management, I had to deal with failed systems and currupt leadership. I stuck it thru for yes, a pay check but also to help people. I was so excited to become a grant researcher, to me at the time I thought that could very well be a career type job. But it wasnt, I was duped along with all the customers... they gave up their money, I gave up a peice of my soul. In this life, when you do bad things, they come back to you and you will pay the piper. I hope that by providing you all with the information needed to protect yourselfs and your assests that some how I can lesseson the burden of the payment I owe. You want to know what happened to me for all that? I lost my job, I cant find a new one, I cant pay my child support and I cant see my kid. I have no idea what is going on in my babys life, the mother must think I'm some kind of peice of trash for all this. What am I to do now? This is my owe dues, I took part in a company that screwed people out of their lifes, now I'm missing out on my daughters. I have offered assistance to anyone hurt by them. Its my I'm sorry.

See this here is funny to me... I want everyone to know that I personally handled all the clients for this company. PERSONALLY... I have never seen this name before... You could be a new client and may have got funded. But seeing as it takes 3 months of work up to get to the point where a non profit will take your paperwork into a meeting to vote on it. 1 month of dilberations, and then years of execution, I highly doubt this. I warn everyone, this is the company posing as a customer trying to scam you even further. I challenge you sir, not because I'm agressive but becase I would love to see the proof, Please... post the link to your 990. Post the non profits that funded you and the person in charge of your file on the side of the non profit. To all readers, again, be warned. Even if these clients did get funded. Thats 3 out of 900+. You have a better chance at our local black jack tables. Instead take your capitol, invest it into your overhead. And higher more employees, thats really what we need. Again... this is a scam, you've been warned.

national grant writing authority scam in Las Vegas, Nevada

My name is not important but what this company does is. I am a client of National Grant Writing Authority. My initials are R.C. and my mothers is K.C. we are both clients of this firm. We have put up at least 32,000.00 minimum to have these people help my mother and I receive moeny from the government through grants. We are small business owners and don't have much at all. We took our last to put up and have this company (National Grant Writing Authority) help us. They have sent out letters on our behalf, but the letters they have sent out are awful like if a child was writing it. The package is cute but what is cute going do when you have bills to be paid. We also have received the same type of letters for more then 1 foundation like if they just duplicated the letter and mailed it to the foundations.
I have also received research with the same foundations on it like if they were once again just copying work from another file or something. I am so engulfed in flames over this. I woul

Hello R.C. and K.C. My name is Joshua Neff. I used to work for that company and National Growth Funding. Let me tell you exactly what I was told while working for them. I was told, and I quote word for word "Josh, I need you to do the bull s**t research" That was said by a man named Jessy, he is the GM for NGF and is the old GM for NGWA. Xavier is the current GM, and he has his researchers do the same exact thing I used to do. It is total crap what the wanted me to do. I walked out on them, I would first like to start by saying that I personally handled your file from time to time and I am SO sorry. I know who you are, and pls listen to what I'm about to tell you. You've been scamed, they have no intention of ever getting you your money, EVER... The letters they write are totally wrong, I fought over and over again to get them to change, and they would just blow me off. You can do something about it! Please... contact the Federal Trade Commission. They have a branch specific to Grant Scams. File a claim against them. Do it now! You can help shut them down for good! If you need anything feel free to email personally at neffness@gmail.com. If you send me your letters, and a list of who they were sent to I can send you back a detailed explination of how each non profit they attempted to get money from would never fund your company. Again, I am so sorry, This company is foaming at the mouth to get me for something so I cant do anything until you contact me. But I can tell you that the way they do research is to go to a web site www.foundationcenter.org That website has a database of foundations, they claim 104 thousand, its more like 80,000. Of that 80,000 only 100ish actually give to for profits, and of that 100 only about 30 are even accepting applications, and your company does not meet the minimum requirements to obtain grant funding. Also know that the retainer you signed is worth less then the paper its written on... to be continued....

You can demand a refund, they give out refunds! You must throw a big enough fit. But... know that they blow all their money on companys that fail... they dont have the full ammount to repay you. They bounce checks every week to their employees, hell they even garnished my paycheck for child support the pocketed my babys money... yes... they are those kinda people. The company name is under a woman named Anna, but the man who really owns the company is Mychael Shaw. He lives in vegas... look... you have been had by these scam artists... and others have too, about 900 others. Read my posts, I go on and on about what they do and how they do it, I get lots of emails thanking me for providing the info about these companys, I want to help all I can. You can do something about it... the federal trade commision can help you, I can help you, others will start to see my posts and the mob will grow. Stand up for yourselfs! Don't back down. I must admit, I fell for it! What's to do now? I am going to ask for a refund but it would probably be a miracle. Next I am planning to write to the BBB (I did check with them, by the way, and there were no complaint!) and the Attorneys General for California, and Ohio where I live. Has anyone done that? Anybody wants to join me? This site should be on page one. I never got far enough in Google to find it!

Website IS NO LONGER VALID, "mailbox is full" on phone, then it hangs up, and their BBB rating is F due to NOT responding to 11 complaints similar to the one that I am going to file. Where do we go now? State's atty's office? FTC? I NEED MY MONEY BACK FROM THEM! They hire dummies who can barely speak English, much less SPELL it, and don't know how to write an LOI for the life of them. I had to constantly correct spelling/gramatical errors on my LOI prior to approval. I had 2 very nice woman working on my case and last time I called the guy who answered the phone didn't even know the name of the woman I was asking to talk to! That was when they WERE answering their phone! OK...I'm royally P'O'd NOW!

Why isn't there any lawsuits or government action against these people? What do we have to do to get this company to pay for what they did? These kind of people make me sick!!!!

Well, like Josh Neff says, we can file a case with the FTC, which is something I am going to consider. First file a complaint with the BBB, but they already have 11 complaints filed and haven't satisfied any of them! Also, the BBB said we could file a case through the State's Atty's office in I guess it would be the closest large city to San Antonio which I think they said was Austin? So, soon as I get some other business straigtened out, I'm going to try to do something about it. The only thing that worries me is that in the contract it says they have up to a year to secure the grant money and it doesn't say what happens AFTER that year? I have been in it for 1-1/2 yrs. Do they have the right to quit after that and then we have "paid for services rendered"??? PISS POOR elementary written LOIs that probably NEVER got sent out to ANY foundations? They would not EVER prove to me WHO they sent them to! I ALSO had a friend who got on the band wagon that I referred to them. Maybe she would file a case against them too. She sounds like she has given up on it though. $2,950. is STILL a lot of money to lose, but would I lose MORE trying to get a refund?

National Growth Funding is a company to avoid. I am the President of a private foundation. The IRS code only allows us to provide grants to organizations eligible under section 501(c)(3) of the tax code (essentially, charities, churches, etc.). We CANNOT fund private businesses, yet NGF sends us your requests. Either they do not know what they are doing, or they are acting in a highly cynical manner, showing their clients the letters they have posted (and counting on the fact that you are unfamiliar with how private foundation funding works).

I could also comment on the fact that when I receive multiple, cookie-cutter type letters in fill-in-the-blank format from NGF, my preferred response it to deposit those letters in the recycling bin.

I've met plenty of amateur fund-raisers who are more competent than NGF.

Out of San Antonio, tx they probably have a good vibe to work for and their google search is pretty good, no scams or complaints reported. Hope this helps

You looked in the wrong place for complaints on National Growth Funding. They are a scam. I know this from personal experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEM. You only have to google 'NATIONAL GROWTH FUNDING COMPLAINTS' to read all the stories of the people they have scammed. They are now rated F by the BBB because of complaints. I try to keep everyone from loosing their hard earned money on this pondscum company.
