I don't know of any paid jobs hiring, but there are 2 legal non profits you could volunteer work at to meet people in the field and gain valuable experience.
San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, and Legal Aid Society.
I tried applying to be a legal secretary to both of them but they said I had to be a law student or a lawyer to volunteer for them haha.
And then the next day I saw one of them post a job for a paid legal secretary. Didn't make sense to me actually but it's ok.
But if you already graduated law school, could volunteer there. I believe there's a big legal community in San Diego.
