Banks set their own numbering schemes, so they can be 8 digits or any length that will give them enough numbers to use internally. Out of curiosity, why are you looking for a bank with 44001 in it's numbering scheme. Are you looking at credit/debit card numbers or checking accounts? |

Visa cards are in the format 4XXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX and I think I have seen debit cards starting with 4400. Without knowing what kind of account has that number, or if that's the RTN, there is no way to tell what he means. Im sure it can't be a Credit/Debit card because they all have 16 digits, and the one im looking for is a 12 digits account number, but it could be a credit/debit that comes with a bank account number.I think it's a pretty popular bank, it's weird that it's that diffcult to find out. |
