Att: Looking for Wisdom

i actually have two questions for all the genius,wisemen and women that can help me with info. first off, if i have a business plan or invention but dont have the contacts to put my ideas to work. what should be my next move or who should i initially contact. right now im just sitting here with what i think is a good idea but dont know where to start.
second, i played college and pro basketball and attained my degree in justice studies. i feel i could be a perfect asset to any sports or entertainment companies. i could be an idea scout, recruiter, advisor, and consultant. anybody know of some good places to try and lay out my talent. im located in arizona
