I say avoid most of those forums and search engines online. They tend to post the same garbage over and over. For starters the best way would simply be driving out to each location and going inside and asking about work that way. Sometimes talking to an employee and having them talk to the manager can get you an interview in minutes!

Another good way is to use Google. Sometimes driving down the same roads over and over just waste more Gas and money than anything else. So Open google maps find the roads your looking for and find places that way! Than you can easily bring up the places phone number and so on and get in contact with them.

It might work in a few situations (smaller outfits) but not most. Extraordinary socials skills (con man) and looks (yes, very important) might gain some advantage
