Companies that will hire (felony) in Dallas TX

Im hungry for a job. Want to work! Need a job! Have to support myself! I have a felony that is impeding my chances of securing employment. Does anyone out there know of companies that will do a case by case and hire an Administrative Assistant? or let me put it this way, that will hire a humble, sincere person who wants to work. Any kind of job. One with reasonable salary so that I can support myself with housing and food? Yanno what I mean. 7.00/hr will not support housing. Ok maybe housing, but little else. Please help me. Someone?

You didn't mention what your felony involved, but it is none of my business. When you are looking for a job, try to find something that has nothing to do with your felony. [i.e., if you had a issue with money, don't hope to be a cashier]. If you have had any kind of experience in a certain job, make sure your possible employer knows that. Also, some states will let you pay a fee to have what they call an expungement [i think] to get rid of a felony or misdemeanor. If you can do that, I do know it can be costly. At least try to find out if there's anything you can do to repair your record or if the offense drops off after a few years. Consider schooling too, if you want. A lot of states will give public assistance to someone who is trying to go to school and doesn't have much of an income. Good luck, I hope it works out for you....
