Hi, I have a second interview for an Assistant Loss Prevention job. I am 18 months out of college with a degree in Justice Administration. So this would be a great job to jumpstart my degree. I am PRN at the hospital and found out I am scheduled full time until the end of March. If I do land the job how do I handle leaving the PRN job? Would two weeks be enough? Second question I have Jury Selection in five weeks should I bring it up in the second interview? Appreciate the feedback |

you should check with your current employer's company policy manual about how long of a notice you need to give after turning in a resignation letter. most places are two weeks, but i would double check with your policy manual or HR department to make sure. i would not bring up the jury duty until after you get hired. if possible for you to get out of jury duty and get the date changed? say you don't want to jeopardize the chances of losing a new job. here is a link for more info: www.wikihow.com/Get-Out-of-Jury-Duty |
