I signed up for and alert and confirmed it, but I never got any alerts sent to me. Why?

Alerts are only sent when jobs that match your criteria are posted. You can edit your search to get a better alert.

If you have a my.indeed account please use this page, www.indeed.com/my/alerts of your account to edit your Indeed job alerts.
Click on the 'edit' link next to the alert you would like to change and enter your zip code you are searching in your "Where" query. Be sure to click "Save Jobs" after.

If you do not have a my.indeed account, click on the edit link at the bottom of the alert email. Edit the keywords in the "what" box and/or the location in the "where" box and click on Update to save your changes.

You may want to create a my.indeed account. Creating an account will allow you to have full control over adding, deleting, temporarily pausing and editing all of your alerts. You can create an account at www.indeed.com/my/login.
Another benefit of having a my.indeed account is once you have confirmed the email address for the account you will not have to confirm any alerts created under this account.
