Ad Sales Compensation in Newspaper/Magazine Industry?

I'm reviewing an ad sales opening for which I'm being considered, in a small-to-medium sized PA-DE-NJ area newspaper/magazine publisher. Could you give me some idea of compensation ranges for a role like this? Mid-level experience, significant business development activity in advertising sales would be a major portion of the role.

The compensation structure would be some combination of salary and commission. Also, benefits may be included or not, so an adjustment up or down for these may be necessary – any number you could offer for 'monetary value of benefits' would be really useful as well. Thank you!
