Here's what I do: When I type in my zipcode and see the list, in small letters above the list to the right it says :sort by relevance or date. I click on date and I can see the most recent, I mean yea I still see the ones from forever ago but at least the newest ones are first and if I see one I'm sure I already saw then I just ignore it. Hope that helps! :) |

Tks for the tip. That's what I do also. The only thing is since I check indeed throughout the day so often, I can't pin down when the new jobs stop and when the ones I saw already start since indeed pretty much just shows how many hours ago something was posted and not the exact time. I was wondering if the "last time I visited" actually worked! LOL! |

Hi JohnnyC, I'm an engineer at Indeed.com. We are making a change that should fix the problem you're having -- it should take effect within a few days. The reason it's happening is you have to wait a certain period of time between your searches on Indeed before it starts a new "visit". It turns out we currently have this time period set to 4 hours. After seeing your question, we think 4 hours is too long, so we're changing this to 1 hour. So once this change takes effect, any time you have at least 1 hour between searches, you should only see jobs that are actually new since your last visit. Please let us know if you have any further troubles with this. Thanks, Chris
