I eventually worked but for some reason I had to re enter the numbers two or three times. I have had to do this on each post I do so I know it's not my eyes.:)

stromy, I've noticed sometimes it may take a minute for my reply to appear. I wonder if it's just a propagation delay (or a hiccup in my connectivity speed).

The captcha on here is totally stupid. Sometimes, it takes 5 or more attempts for it to take. Also, your post won't show immediately, but if you refresh it should appear within 10 seconds of posting.
