Does anyone know of companies who allow students in their last year of classes work (on-site) as an entry level coder to gain experience? Maybe working in medical records department to gain exposure?(aside from an internship). I know remote coding requires on-site experience so I am working towards that. I am looking for direction on how to navigate working part time in a entry level position to gain exposure and experience while I am in finishing school/prepping for RHIT exam. I anticipate taking the RHIT exam in Michigan after April of 2011. I figured I should begin looking into this now to see if it is possible. |
