How do I limit searches geographically? |

I live on Long Island, NY. A 15 mile search includes jobs in CT, but this is on the other side of the sound. I'd need a boat! I don't own a car, so I wish to eliminate jobs in areas where the commute is very difficult, or improbable. I tried to use Advanced Search > "With none of these words" = [state abbreviation] to eliminate these illogical results, but it does nothing. |

Hello xtian, While there is currently no feature which allows you to block results based on state, you can block results based on city. Once signed in to your my.indeed account, click the "block" link at the end of any job in your search results. You can then choose to block all jobs from that company, from the website the job is posted on, or in that particular location. Your choices will be saved in your preferences. Remove the company/website/location from your blocked jobs list to add those jobs back to your search results. Do feel free to contact our support team if you have any additional questions: Indeed Host |
