Hello. I currently live in New England and am looking for a job in Florida. I had spent about 3 years working in FL in the past and also have a house there that I would like to move back into. Does anyone have any tips on how to relay this information to a potential employer? I know its hard to gain an interview when you are out of state, but I would like them to know that my transition would be easy because I own a house already in the area.

Also, should I use that local address on my resume? I have tenants currently living in the property and I definately dont want to appear untruthful...but I'd also like my resume not to be thrown to the bottom of the pile.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

You should list both addresses. Include a cover letter explaining that you are looking to transition back to Florida. Be honest, it works.
