Hello. I currently live in New England and am looking for a job in Florida. I had spent about 3 years working in FL in the past and also have a house there that I would like to move back into. Does anyone have any tips on how to relay this information to a potential employer? I know its hard to gain an interview when you are out of state, but I would like them to know that my transition would be easy because I own a house already in the area. Also, should I use that local address on my resume? I have tenants currently living in the property and I definately dont want to appear untruthful...but I'd also like my resume not to be thrown to the bottom of the pile. Any ideas would be appreciated. |

You should list both addresses. Include a cover letter explaining that you are looking to transition back to Florida. Be honest, it works. |
