I hate wearing flats because I want to look more professional...but I hate standing a whole 6--8 inches taller than some men at interviews...am I intimidating?

What kind of shoes should a tall woman wear to an interview?

If you don't like wearing flats, wear heels. But if you feel uncomfortable about standing taller than people, why don't you wear a low heel (an inch or so)?

Flats and bring a pair of 6" stilettos. Er, for the hiring manager. Ha!

I'm tall as well, and for a job interview I would go with nothing over a one inch heel. After you're hired, you can break out whatever shoes you want to wear!

wear a shoe with a kitten heel (1 inch or less heel)

kind of like this:

Nine West has a good selection of low-heeled shoes at an affordable price. I would also check out Nordstrom rack's clearance section
