Hello there guys,

New user here.

I just wanted to ask a quick question regarding an interview I just did about a week ago.

I believe I had a good one, but something is still curious.

BEFORE the interview, the woman at the head desk wanted me to quickly fill out an application for the position I was going to be interviewed for. (They called me in first by the way.)

Anyway, the woman said that I DID NOT have to write in any previous job experience even though I had previous job experience.

Is this a good sign or not?

Did you have a copy of your resume?

I wouldn't worry about it, I've been asked to fill out apps, give a copy of driver's lic., Birth Certificate, references, and resume, and still not given the position...

Don't sweat it, if they want you, they will let you know...

Good luck..

Displaced Legal Professional in Denver, Colorado said: Wrong. A job application is like a written exam. Along with collecting information about you, the app tests your ability to follow directions. You must follow all directions precisely for completing the form, including filling in the previous work experience section.

In addition, unlike your resume, on which you can be what you want to be, a job application is a legal document. Employers use information collected on apps for verifying employment. You risk rejection or, worse, losing the job, if you omit any information from the app.

This must be the coach for the Detroit Lions...
