Following up for the second time

I've been going through a fairly lengthy job interview process with a dream scenario company

I followed up two weeks ago and got a positive response mentioning some internal staffing planning meetings that were happening early last week ... If I don't hear anything by this Wednesday, I'd like to follow up again, but I am not sure how to do so without sounding desperate or coming off like a pest.

Any advice?

Also, as background, I am currently employed and this is not my one and only hope, it's my DREAM job...

Email or call them then to reiterate interest and check on the status. Thereafter, though, I think I would just wait for their next move.

Employers can say anything they want to say. The only thing they say that has any meaning, in my opinion, is when they say they have an offer to make you.
