Hi,

I had what I thought was a great interview recently and the company seemed like a place I would really want to work. I also carefully typed up a thank you letter and sent it out the next day (as it was the weekend).

The following day I realized that I had not signed my name to the letter! I do not believe I did this. Now I am so worried that this error might cause me not to be considered for the position. What should I do? Should I mail another letter with my signature? Should I call them? Or do nothing? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for replying. I am almost positive I did not sign it because I have no recollection of getting a pen and signing it. I only remember wanting to get the letter out and to the post office. I remember folding it, putting it in, and sealing it, but don't remember putting my signature on it. However, sometimes things slip my mind, so there is a slight possibility that I did sign it. I really hope I did. I suppose you are right in saying I should not bring attention to it, as it's possible it may not be noticed. Thank you again.

I did the same thing years ago! I didn't do anything about it. I got the job, and I never asked if they noticed that it wasn't signed.

I also think that you shouldn't do anything. Just hope that they don't notice or don't care!
