I would love to work at sears, but i have a relative working there, does that make me ineligible for a position at Sears in the same city but different location?

I have no job experience and haven't done an interview before? What should i expect?

I need help from y'all. i don't wanna miss out on my first possible job.

Why don't you just call Sears, ask for the human resource department and ask about their policy? They're not going to bite.

Take some initiative if the relative thing is okay (I'll bet it will be) ask if they have any job openings or where they may be posted. If you get an interview, tell them how you would love to work at Sears and be sure to have some reasons that have NOTHING to do with benefits, pay or what they give employees. You'll want to make the reasons along the lines of "I enjoy helping people", "I work with my uncle on some home projects and I enjoy working with tools", etc. (You should be sincere about those reasons.) Don't lie about experience you don't have--be honest (everyone has to start somewhere.) But you can make non-work experience count to what you want to do (say if you've worked with their Craftsman tools, for example and know a jig saw from a miter saw). Make sure you dress nicely...you probably don't need a suit, but a clean, pressed white shirt and tan pants or similar would be good. Make sure you have fresh breath and an enthusiastic attitude and are committed to sticking to a schedule, being on time and you'll be MILES ahead of most employees.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
