If they want you, they know how to contact you, especially if it's a hot fill position.

Yes, you should.
Send a thank you note after the interview.
If they mentioned a specific time frame, only follow up after that specific day.

YES. Always follow up and let them know you are still interested and thank them for their time. If it's between two people and one does it and the other doesn't, it could mean the difference between getting the job or not.
It only takes a few seconds, send a quick email or phone call and follow up. No doubt.
