I am not very confident when being interview, I get stumped on questions such as: Where do you see yourself in 3-5 yrs? Why did you leave your job when the reason I left was something like too much stress or coworkers how do you answer this with out them thinking your gonna be a problem, or questions like what would you do in certain situations i just seem to answer these with little confidence, help I have an interview on Thursday. |

That is cute...I do the same thing. Just be yourself and remember everything happens for a reason. Life is too short to worry. You will do great if you believe in yourself and skills. Smile it's ok. As Dianna says, smile, get yourself in the right place and be yourself. If you are stressed it is heard in your voice. Where do you see yourself in 3-5 years is often a throw away question. You can always respond more generally such as, "in a role which has allowed me to learn and grow", "working with a dynamic team", in a role which offers travel. There is no one answer. Honestly ask yourself the question and polish your answer. Change in career - to learn a new avenue. I realized, although I truly enjoyed the team, I was looking for more fulfillment in .... learning/helping people/leading - whatever it is. I am at the point in my life where I want to explore options and other career fields to find the right opportunity for me. A follow up question will surely be "what" are you looking for? Again, growth, team dynamics, creating new possibilities for people. Start with being more relaxed. You can download (free) 100 interview questions and select 10-20 you think you may be asked and WRITE out the answers. Read them...polish them. You will do find. |
