What is the best way to document my most recent position? I have had the same job for 6 years working for company "A" last year it was bought out by company "B" and I retained my position. I don't want to list them on my resume as 2 separate jobs, 5 years at one and 1 year at the other. Thanks for any input.

The best way to present it would be:

2001-Present "Company B" (Previously "Company B")

This way they see your stability and can see both names of the company. With all the companies being bought I see this a lot.
