I formerly worked for a person in Congress. This person has made some enemies within certain special interests. I am now applying for a job within one of these industries she rallied against. Would it hurt me to withhold this employer's name on my resume? Without this employers, I lose a lot of my relevant experience.

Thanks

Either you have a gap, which isn't going to do you any good, or you list the employer. I suppose you could leave this particular employer out for this one resume you're going to send, but I'll tell you now that something always looks better than nothing.
