Good Afternoon, I am writing today hopefully to receive a little help. I posted in the forums last week, but I think I did not articulate my request as well as I could have as the responses I got were not very helpful. I am hoping that there is someone (preferably in HR), but, I be happy to get help from anyone who is knowledgeable in what is considered the most desirable way a resume should be constructed (specifically tips and advice on form and content) I have diverse work experience primary in administration / accounting and contract research. And I am becoming increasingly frustrated at my seeming inability to find a job. (although I am currently employed). I know that there are several profession services available, but I simply cannot spend that kind of money. If anyone is willing to help me even just looking at my resume(s) and helping me build a new one. please reply to this message and I would be happy to send you my resume and a little bit more information. Thank you all

I have seen some really good work done by professional resume writers. I learned to write a good resume by having read so many bad ones. Still it is difficult to know what is the latest trend and in my opinion, not worth your time. Find someone local in the Yellow Pages and ask to see some of their work. If it impresses you, it will impress someone else. You have about 20 seconds to make an impression with a resume so you have to make this count. If you want to save money, you can replace the transmission in your car, when it goes. |
