Any advice on Resumes for a Graphic Design Professor?

I'm going to apply to local colleges and universities for full time job as a Graphic Design Professor, teaching graphic design, interactive design, and web design. My questions tend to deal with how my resume should look. As a designer I have read that you want to show case your design skills, but as a professor or teacher you should make it just easy to read and use no colors or images, so what do I do? Does anyone have a sample resume you could send me or post so I can see what would be good to use for a college professor?
