Is this combination generally enough to land an entry level accounting position?

I recently completed a BS in Business Admin and was thinking about pursuing an MS in Accounting. I already exceed the business education requirements to sit for the CPA exam in my state. I just need 27 more upper division accounting credits to meet the accounting education requirement. A local state university offers an MS in Accounting with very affordable tuition. However, I'm concerned that not having a BS in Accounting may make it difficult to find a position.

Oh my gosh! Go for your Master's and your CPA. A degree in business administration is highly recommended for those looking to become CFO's (the CEO's in the financial world). Even without your CPA, you could easily land an accounting position with a master's and your current BS. Being well rounded in both accounting and administration is hugely useful, desired, and smart! You are more marketable than you know! Good luck!
