Greetings I was wondering if I will be able to recieve CPA certification with any bachelors degree. Or if I will, in addition to the multiple credit hours worth of accounting classes, need an actual ACCOUNTING degree. Does anybody know? Thanks. |

It depends on the state. Generally, you'll need 24 semester hours of accounting classes. Also, many states require a fifth year of college - bachelor's degree plus one year. In states that only require a bachelor's degree (certain paths in California for example), they may not be considered substantial equivalent to the five year states. |
