I am 30 years old and live in a Australian city. I graduated from a good university almost 2 years but have not been able to find any forms of accounting work.

I am a Australian so issues such as language and PR are not an issue for me.

My main obstacle is my poor grades. I failed 2 units at uni badly and because of this my GPA is only 58%
Most graduate programs cull applicants whose GPA is lower than 65%, so I really don't have a chance in getting them. I still try however.

I have tried to get work such as accounts payable, book keeping and accounts assistant but I am told that I do not get the jobs because I don't have experience or even that I am too over qualified. .

I have started studying the CPA, I completed ethics and governance but failed advanced taxation, and have since given up for now as I do not get time off work to study and the cost is a bit too much.

I currently work in administration and I only get paid 35k. There is no career progression and I hate the job. I cant live of this wage and I hate being unskilled.

Can some one please give me guidance on what to do next
