I have been trying to find some answers on why I am still unemployed. I have been looking for a entry-level/staff accountant position here in Houston. I graduated in December 09 with an accounting degree and 2.8 GPA. I have been looking for a positions aggressively and scored multiple interviews too, but I just can't seem to get a job. In fact my recruiters often call me back saying that I am the top 2 candidates employers are interested in after I interview with the companies, but I never get selected. I have a good resume, internship and now I am trying to pursue CPA too, but in order to get my CPA requirement fulfilled I still need to work under a CPA for at least a year or so. What should I do any tips on how I can really get that awesome job that a lot of folks are getting it!
