I am in the process of re-locating from New York to Charlotte, I know that there would probably be a large pay cut which I am willing to sacrafice. Would I survive on the average pay of $36,000 per year?

LG - I live near Charlotte, NC. If you haven't already moved by now, you will find that $36,000 is pretty good for an Admin in this area. I actually work for a major corporate retailer just outside of Charlotte and only make $30,000 and work for a VP. I was in shock when I saw the pay scale here in Charlotte and feel the south is definitely behind in salary averages.
