Do some companies pay a lot more for this position than others? What does a top earner make in this field?

What skills should you learn to increase your salary?

Companies range...well at least in Denver from 10,000 to 70,000 dependant on what commission you get paid and how long you have been with the company. And thats just the base, some are commission only.

I got a base of just under 70k and then you can make commission on top. If you do well and you have experience then this helps. Some companies actually pay you an increase even if you have not done well if they are a union.

I would look at the commission and the average sale and then determine what you would need to sell to reach your target goal.

In advertising, some companies only sell small ads, whilst others can run large campaigns for national or majors.

It's a tough question as it simply depends on the company.

Just to let you know I make around the 100,000 mark with commissions plus they also pay towards car and cellphone in some cases. You will also be provided with a laptop more often than not with wireless of course.
