Recent grad looking for non-defense related aeronautical engineering work in the DC Metro area

I know most aero companies that are near DC are here for the close proximity to the Pentagon, but is there anything that is *not* defense related. Civil? Commercial? General Aviation? Anything? I recently graduated with a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from a good school, have a good GPA, love living in DC and don't want to work in the defense industry. So far this has been a very tough nut to crack, but I've still got hope. I'd be willing to commute an hour if that opens up the field any. Does anyone know of any non-defense aeronautical engineering jobs (or companies) in the DC Metro area? Many thanks in advance for your replies!!!

I have been searching for a job approaching two years now, colorado, texas and dc metro areas. I have a masters in aerospace engineering with 4 years experience. i haven't in all of my job searching found any aviation jobs that don't have some string attached to the defense industry. good luck though! and if you find anything even in the defense industry for me please let me know. its getting to be a little frustrating nowadays.
