Definitely check out the Paul Mitchell school. I am doing research myself and have two friends who have graduated from there and are doing very well. They don't own their own spas but they graduated less than a year ago and hope to work their way up. They both say it is the "Harvard of Beauty Schools." Its definitely something to check out. Good luck!

I graduated from Paul Mitchell's The Skin Academy last year. After doing my research on schools, it was the best I could find (that I didn't have to drive to LA for). GREAT instructors (Teresa & Tom). Good luck!

Yes - it IS the "Harvard of beauty schools". I graduated in December of last year. Took state board in February & got my 1st job within 3 weeks.
