do most management companies re drug test if you have already been working there and they just took over

No one can say. If your new employer has rules about on-going drug testing of current employees, then yes, it's likely you will have to submit to testing. If they consider you a new employee and they test only new employees/applicants, then it's likely you will have to submit.
