Do you have any tips to help prepare for an upcoming application support analyst interview?

Are there common interview questions that come up again and again?

Five golden tips, the first three are obvious:
- Research the sector, the company, the group
- Research the specific role being applied for, the skills and experience required
- Research your CV (at least the one that made it to ht einterviewer) and make sure you can answer EVERY SINGLE QUESTION that could be asked about your skills & experience in each entry on it. Give examples to prove your point
- Research the Business (client's core business) skills needed, the IT skills needed and make sure you've done your homework and can answer technical questions about skills you're meant to have
- Application Support is a lot about communication and presentation. Ensure you look and sound the part and arm yourself with examples of why you have excellent commuication skills (eg you volunteer for social work) and leadership skills (eg you sit on your building's resident committee)
