I am a Web/Graphic Designer in Southern California. I am looking to change careers into something related to Architectural Design, Structural Engineering or something along those lines. I am very computer savvy and I am aware that you have to be familiar with CAD software. I am thinking of going back to school but maybe for only 2 years at first.

What would be the best school for this profession and what are the possibilities of getting a career in this field with a Bachelors in Visual Communications (Web) and Associates in Visual Communications (Graphics)?

Thank you

Whatever you do, DON'T go into architecture. There's no work in the field - even experienced, and in many cases, licensed architects, are having trouble in this economy. It's a boom or bust profession, and if I had it to do all over again, I would have chosen something in the medical field.

Good luck
