I have enjoyed reading many of the questions posed and answers, so I thought I would through mine in.

O.K. I am currently finishing up an Associates in general studies and looking into possible careers. I have changed many times and decided just to, at least, get my basics out of the way.

I have taken many assessment tests on "what I would be good at" and upon researching them found art directing as the career I have been looking for. I have also found that you cannot just go to school for it and be hired to that title right out.

My question being, what schools should I look into, what are all the different sub-fields or interests in the spectrum of art direction, and for internships does it matter, in the scheme of things, where I go and who for?
