So if I want to be an Art Director for an Advertising Agency... how much do you think I would get paid?

Also, what jobs would I have to have prior to being an Art Director? Or would I just jump right into that position??? :)

You definitely won't jump into the AD position. If you are at the beginning of your career, I would suggest trying to get an internship at an agency whose work you like. Make sure you are doing ads at the internship- then you will have work in your book on real accounts. If your work is good, you will have a shot as a jr. AD at that agency, or another one. If you aren't in the beginning of the career, I would suggest taking an advertising class and building a book. Depending on location, I would say Jr. AD would get around 40k- that's consumer, and that's based on NY range. On the other hand, Jr.AD in pharmaceutical can start at 50K. Hope this helps.
