Q Analysts is looking for a ASIC/SoC Engineer for one of its clients located in Minneapolis, MN.

DUTIES:
*As an integral member of the customer design engineering team, the Customer Design Engineer provides technical support to the company's sales staff, customers and peers, on complex issues such as chip floor planning, place and route, timing analysis, signal integrity, test, and design verification.
*Uses wide ranging and in depth experience during analysis of situations or data that may require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
*Position incumbent will exercise judgment in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
*DFT, Test Generation and Verification, Physical Design, Timing Closure, DRC/LVS.

SKILLS:
*5 + years of experience as a Customer Design Engineer or equivalent.
*Synopsys Tools and flow: ICC, DCT, VCS, Tetramax Mentor Fastscan
*Atrenta for Netlist/Schematic DRC -Mentor Calibre for Physical layout DRC/LVS primarily, Synopsys Hercules also.

EDUCATION:
*BS/MS Electrical or Computer Engineering
