How did you get your start doing assistant director of nursing work, and what career moves did you make to get to your current position?

Do you need a particular educational background?

i was promoted to the rank. they had to talk me into it. the position was great for awhile but they kept piling on more and more work till it bacame to much. i was stressed and was told everything wrong before i did it. had to go on antidepressant meds to cope. begged for a year to be relieved of position. finally was then 1 week later don walked out. if it doesnt pay well and you have a boss that lacks in people skills it isnt worth it.

I was promoted to the position which I liked a lot ,at first it was interesting until my unit manager quit on me and I had to be doing her job and my job .Every morning this pile would be on my desk which they need by end of day.It did not even pay well.
