My son's 1995 Plymouth Neon had serious engine and transmission oil leaks. We pulled engine and replace seals on both. Now engine runs fine, but transmission won't shift into gear. Fluid level is OK.

During assembly, we had a linkage problem where the starter would not activate in Park, but would in Neutral/Drive. Fixed that problem, but in the process, shifter in tranny was locked. We broke it free, but may have broke something else in the process. Is the Tranny toasted?
