How hard do you think it would be to take a 4.3 chevy motor and put it in a nissan pickup truck. Pretty hard probably.

pretty hard is a understatement...Anything can be done but it will not mate to the transmission.
What year is this truck? I sure the wiring will be a headache and trying to get all of it to work as it should like the factory had it good luck.
Now if you wanted to just put a old 4.3 with a 700 transmission and run a carb and not the FI it could be done but hope you are part welder as theres lots to be done

my father put a chevy 350 in an 84 nissan, and it was the fastest thing ive ever been in. if your gunna do it, id go with a carborated 350, either with a turbo 400 if the drive shaft wont be too short. or just a regular 350 tranny. you can buy an adaptor to fit the nissan tranny, but itl cost you about 1500 bucks. and if its a standard, youll likey blow the tranny with the torqe of the 350.
