This is for you guys and gals who have escaped the dealership. With your honest service advisor skills, What other professions have you gotten into? It's difficult to escape the dealership when you are at the top of your game and used to making a certain amount of money. 15 years is enough and I am fed up with the constant dealership management and resulting pay plan changes.

Have there been any other careers that welcomed you?

I was in the same position....tried wholesale parts countersales at a jobber store....boring! Able to easily get to the top of the store in terms of sales.....nothing beats the dealership atmosphere in terms of variety. Try applying to be service manager or parts manager or even into the sales environment
