autojobless in Chicago, Illinois

I just got out of school study auto and diesel and Ford training.Can''t seem to find a job in automotive I live in Chicago any advice?

i have been with lincoln mercury for 20 plus years in chi,best advise is dont even start dealers are bad people to work for we are union local 701 so thats the only thing good,every tech i know (me included)hates thier job, it was good in the 1990,s but from 2000 and up its all been downhill,I want to quit so bad,but cant, find anything else the money is in disel trucks learn disel and get a CDL if you want to make money flate-rate is a big joke no one can beat the times get an hourly job. GOOD LUCK
