Hey i was wondering if anyone had some input on my pay?
I have been working as a nanny for the same family for over 3 years, before that i worked with a family for a year as well as in a 5 star daycare.
Starting out with my 3 year family i was making $10 an hour, i finally got a raise last oct. $11 an hour.

I work 6 days a week and they have 3 kids, i do laundry(kids and adults) clean the house, org. toy room, make beds, cook dinner, and many other random things. I drive them around to dr appts, dance, school, and anywhere else they need to go. I am CPR and First AID cert.

Just wondering if anyone feels that this seems odd, or not.

hi Kat, first of all, whats the going pay rate for nanny jobs in ur state? seems like ur being taken advantaged of. 6 days a week, 3 kids, driving, housework, errands, meal prep ... you should be making a lot more than $11. And 3 years of loyal service and just 1 lousy dollar pay increase? I used to be in a similar situation working hard all week long with the parents running late to get home most nights and not paying anything extra for my time. Not to mention all the " can u do me a favor" for which there was no appreciation or compensation. Some advice...check out web-nanny.biz and try to build yourself a second source of income like i am doing. dont count on ur nanny job to last.
