Hello,
I am regular babysitter for a family with a 3 year old boy. They are going away on a trip and have asked me to stay overnight a few nights while watching him during the day. My rate for them is $15/hour. They want to know what to charge for the overnight time but don't feel that it should be $15/hour for the time that I'm asleep. Any thoughts?

I would charge $100 for the whole day/night. But I'm in the south, you being in NY, the rate might be different.
