I was just wondering, working as a teller in a bank if you get lunch breaks. And if so, how long are they usually if say you work 7-8hrs? And is your pay deducted for this break or included in your hourly rate? Also, do you get any other smaller breaks or is lunch the only one? Thanks so much for your answers. I've only worked in retail and restaurants and you either get no breaks or must clock out for any you take. A bank seems a more reasonable and structured workplace so I was just wondering what the norm is.

By law, if you work 6 hours or more, a 45 minute break should be given. However, some banks have only 30 minute breaks on Mondays and Fridays.
My specific branch was like that when I started working, but after a few weeks, the time for every break was 45 min.
